DIANE
DUPUY founded the internationally-acclaimed black light theatre
company, the Famous PEOPLE Players, on June 1st, 1974.
Diane is also a renowned motivational speaker who has traveled
the world inspiring individuals and corporations. Her extraordinary
work on both artistic and humanitarian levels has earned her
many prestigious awards, including the Order of Canada. She
also received honourary degrees from several universities,
including Windsor, Trent, Calgary, Toronto and Brock.
Diane has recently returned from the Alliance for the New
Humanity conference in Puerto Rico, where her friend, Dr.
Deepak Chopra, invited her to speak as a panelist alongside
former U.S. President Al Gore. Her personal story of struggle
and success was featured on CBC television and made into a
CBS movie of the week called Special People. She is the author
of three best-selling books, Dare to Dream, Throw Your Heart
Over the Fence, and Daring to Dream. Diane has published her
first children’s book, The Little Girl Who Did...What?!!!
Most recently, Diane portrayed herself on an episode of the
television series, 7th Heaven, which featured the Famous PEOPLE
Players.
Diane is married to Bernard Dupuy and currently resides in
Toronto, Ontario. They have two daughters.
